With the help of the City of Buffalo, PUSH Buffalo and the West Side community were able to focus their efforts on the redevelopment of the city-owned Massachusetts Avenue Park. In September 2012, construction on Phase II of the plan began, with hopes of a spring 2013 completion. However, the completion of Phase II has been pushed back, due to inclement weather conditions.
