Beautifying Lafayette

 Vanessa Ayivi, AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer at Buffalo State College, was among other student volunteers who worked alongside Lafayette High School students in a project called “Beautify Lafayette.” Buffalo State student volunteers perform monthly service projects on the West Side. On a recent visit to Lafayette High, they performed duties like cleaning walls, dusting trophy cases and raking leaves as part of their revitalization efforts.
