replaces the heating system of a house at 320 Normal Ave as part of PUSH
Green’s weatherization efforts. PUSH Green, the energy-efficiency division of
PUSH Buffalo, works with New Buffalo Impact to weatherize houses on the West
Side. The furnace in the basement of this house was dismantled and replaced
with two hot water tanks to provide heat to the building. New furnaces were
also put in on the first and second floor levels. According to Lonnie Barlow,
communications coordinator at PUSH Buffalo, PUSH Green provides families with a
free energy audit, which notifies of PUSH the level of weatherization the homes
need. Families of all income levels are welcomed to apply to have their homes
