TAKING ROOT - Erin Sharkey, background, creative director at the Massachusetts Avenue Project, guides Canisius College students through MAP's urban farm. Tours are held Saturdays at 11 a.m. and are open to the public. There is no fee for the tours but donations are appreciated. MAP hopes the tours will draw in more volunteers and continue the project's growth within the community. Tours continue through November.
